FILIPINO FOOD

I cook pork adobo and menudo for our dinner tonight my husband asking me to make them. He tried this food in one of the Filipino gathering we went. I am a little bit scared to do it at first because it is my first time to make this food and the fact that his daughter was in our place also because he invited her to come made me a little bit nervous. When the food is cooked I asked them to come to the table to eat and I am really nervous hoping that they both like the food I prepared. Luckily they both said that it was a good food and they like it. Although I make a little bit changes in some of the ingredients that supposed to be in the recipe.

GOOD FOOD TO HELP SURPRESSED HUNGER

We are so conscious about our weight that sometimes lead us on an improper diet. Eating little each time you feel hungry will help a lot to control yourself eating too much. I have some food to recommend here that will help reduce our appetite every time we feel hungry.
Eating this food will really help us a lot without sacrificing our health. Almonds is good because it has a fiber which helps naturally to suppressed hunger. Apple is a good source of pectin, an indigestible fiber that slows down the rate of stomach emptying. Pine nuts a good source of polyunsaturated fatty acids which cause secretion of two hormones. Oatmeal is a good breakfast because it is rich of fiber and a good source of complete carbohydrates which help stabilize insulin level. Egg it contains high protein which make it a natural hunger suppressant.

Including this food in your daily meals can really help a lot to make you stay fit and healthy. The natural benefits you will get in all this food will make your stomach happy and satisfied.

BUSY CUTTING THE MEAT OF THE DEAR

After I eat my dinner, I call my husband to check on him. He told me that his father and brother are in the house cutting the meat of the deer they butcher this afternoon and he was helping them. He offered to do it in the house because his parent's kitchen is small and they need more space especially all three of them are working on it. He told me that my father-in-law asked if I could make my barbecue with the meat of the deer. I told my husband I could, but I won't eat it I can only make it for them.

BUTCHERING THE DEER

On my way out in our house to go to work I saw my father-in-law and brother-in-law butchering the deer they shot. I know they had three deer to butcher and no clue how many they have done already. They need to take out all the inner thing for that poor deer and skin them. They wave and say "hi" to me and tease me to come and check what they are doing. I just laughed at them as a reply and said that my ride is coming and I need to go to work.

DEER HUNTING

My husband didn't go out for hunting for two years now only his two brother go out together with their father. My father-in-law shot a big deer and when they asked me to check it I said no because I don't want to see a dead animal's in front of me. My father-in-law just laughed at me when he knows that I feel pity if I see a dead animals. My husband decided to take a picture of it so that I can see how big it is. When my husband told me that it has bigger horn than the horn of the deer that was displayed in our backroom I was impressed and wonder how old is that deer to have such a long horn. Here is a p
icture of the deer that my father-in-law shot.

2012

My husband asked me to watch movie in the theatre and I wasn't really thrilled at all when he told me we are going to watch 2012, but I was wrong about what I think about the movie at first because I really enjoy watching it.

The movie is all about a worldwide disaster that comes in the year 2012 there are earthquake, volcanic eruption and tsunami. A scientist doctor named Adrian find out about it with the helped of his Indian friend, this information is highly classified so all the highest official in the White House keep it a secret only those people involve in the study knows about it. They already prepared a ship where they can evacuate all the selected people who can only be in there and they have to pay billions. A divorced man named Jackson who worked with a very rich man accidentally knows about it, he did his best to saved his family no matter what it takes. Together with his family they have been through many calamities that almost get them dead, but he never gave up until he makes sure that his family is safe even sacrificing his own life just to save them.

The movie is so intense and makes my heart beat faster and at the same time feel pity for those poor people who can't pay just to be in that ship, until Adrian stands for them and decided to fight for their rights against his cruel boss. It was indeed a very nice movie and if ever my husband decided to rent a tape and watch it again I will surely agree with it.

FAIR JUSTICE FOR ABUSED AND BATTERED VICTIMS

In most cases about abused the common victims known are the women and children. The government and some non-profit organization create a group to protect their rights. The society always in favor about protecting women and children's right because they think that they are more weaker than man. A boy's ages below eighteen years old they are still covered by this protection.

The sad part is that there are also man that was being abused and battered by their partners and the society doesn't really pay attention about it because of the concept that man can protect themselves and it won't make much damages on their part. Honestly, most men who suffered this kind of situation are ashamed to accept it because they are afraid to lose their ego or pride.

Being a man is not an excuse to not be a victim of this kind of crime because there are also some women who abused and battered their partners. The justice should be served fairly in all aspects.

A MAN MADE DISASTER IN FORT HOOD, TEXAS

Last night when we are watching the news I was so terrified about the story of a military man who creates a big disaster in Fort Hood, Texas that killed 13 people and 30 other wounded people. The news was changing about the condition of the shooter because early today the news said that he is dead, but tonight they confirmed that Major Nader Hasan the shooter was just wounded and in stable situation already. There are so many speculations surface about the reason why he does it, but whatever it is I hope justice will be served especially to the victim and its family.

CHILDREN IN DANGER

I read an article on the newspaper today about the bus driver and the children's behavior while riding the school bus. The bus driver said that they have plenty of precautions to do while driving like watching for the deer, bad roads, weather and so much more, but there is another danger greater than all of these perils he said because the children itself is way out of control and they don't respect some of their fellow riders in the bus. There were kids hanging out the windows while the bus is in motion, others running up and down the aisles punching and choking each other, racial slurs against student of color and so many more bad activities they do inside the bus. They ignored the effort their teacher or whoever adults in charge for them to behave while riding the bus. They don't care if they hurt someone already in their actions as long as they have fun without knowing that they also put themselves in danger.

Driving needs concentrations and alertness and imagine if your driving with this horrible situation I can't say they are kids anymore because mostly of them are already teenagers, but sad to say also that most of them have no manners and no respect for others. Here are some simple, but a very helpful ways to help prevent and keep our children safe:

*Parents- step up and discipline your children when needed.

*Drivers- they must have the right to eject kids that make the bus ride unsafe. Stop

bus and wait until order is restored.

*School Administrator- use strict enforcement when problems occur. Back-up your

monitors and drivers.

*Coaches and Chaperones- educate the kids on proper bus etiquette. Take an active role

in maintaining control. Sit in the back of the bus.

*KIDS- act responsibly and show respect to adults and fellow students.

If all of these concerns will follow their duties and responsibilities we can ensure that we can get home all safe to each of our family.

FORMER NURSE AIDE IN US BECOMES UGANDAN KING (AFRICA)

He inherited the throne when his father died leading a secessionist group in the Rwenzori Mountains, otherwise known as the Mountains of the Moon. Shortly after his father's death he led the fighters to go down the mountain and hand in their weapon in the government.

Charles Wesley Mumbere come to United states in 1984 on an Uganda government scholarship, attending business school. He gained political asylum in 1987, trained as a nurse's aide and took a job in a suburban Washington nursing home to pay his bills. He worked as a nursing aide in Maryland and Pennsylvania caring for the elderly and sick without the knowledge of the people that he is a crown king when he was 13 years old in his homeland. He chooses to become a nurse aide the work is more reliable than other kind of jobs because you get laid off easily.

He lived in US with his family for 25 years now and a green card holder, but he never forgot the people he left behind. When the Ugandan government decided to reinstate the traditional kingdoms, Mumbere lobbied the Rwenzururu Kingdom to be among them. After 10 years of negotiation, President Museveni announced in August the government would recognize the Rwenzururu Kingdom as Uganda's seventh kingdom. Government recognition does not grant any executive power, but allows the monarchs to determine cultural and social issues affecting their people. .

EUROPEANS FIND 32 NEW PLANETS OUTSIDE SOLAR SYSTEM

European astronomers announced that they had found another 32 new planets outside the solar system. Six of the newly found planets are several times bigger than our planet Earth, two of this newly found planets are five times smaller than planet Earth, one of the newly found planet is five times larger than planet Jupiter and some of the newly discovered planets are far bigger or larger in sized of planet Jupiter.

This discoveries is just another evidence to the theory that the universe has many places where life could develop. The discoveries were made by the High Accuracy Radial Velocity Planet Searcher, which is an attachment to the European observatory telescope in Chile that looks for slight wobbles in a star's movements. Those changes would be made by the tug of a planet's gravity on the star. There are no photos of these planets.

GAY RIGHTS ADVOCATES MARCH IN DC

In Washington thousands of gays and lesbians activists are marching outside from the Whitehouse to the Capital to pursue their rights to serve openly in the military and to end the discrimination's against gay that the Presidents promise in his speech during the nation's largest gay rights group.

Gay rights has been a big issue many years had passed and it is still up to now, we can't deny the fact even nowadays that everything seems natural, but still people can't accept the gay society and they always discriminates them and think that they are not going to contribute well in the community.

According to the holy Bible the Lord only created two species of human the man and woman. Then, I start wondering how lesbians and gay form, is it really abnormal to be not in the right lane of life? I don't want to judge them of what they are because I got plenty of friends who are in that side and they are all so good to me. They have a different capacity of loving and they are struggling to show to the people that they are not freak of nature and that they can do what every normal people can do or even they can surpass it.

OBAMA ASKS MOMS TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL

The idea of going back to school was good, but we should always remember that there are consequences in every decision we made. For a lower and middle class family going back to school is hard the main reason is the financial capacities although there are helped that is being offered by the government, but still in the near future we need to pay them all. Are you able to take the risk?

Being a mom is a big responsibility they have to make sure that the families need comes first. When you made a big decision you should always see the wider picture and be ready to face the consequences that it would bring in the future.
